About me

Hello, and thanks for passing by! My name is Fabio Nodari, and I’m an Italian travel blogger and travel photographer. I created my website some years ago, mainly as my online portfolio, but since 2014, I’ve also been writing about my trips and how to become a digital nomad.

In 2014, I moved to Taiwan with my wife. I did it for different reasons, but the main one was that I wasn’t happy with my life: I wasn’t living the life I wanted to… It wasn’t an easy decision, and, to be completely honest, sometimes it has been challenging. Living on the other side of the world, immersed in a culture that is the furthest from what I knew, was hard, yet I loved that experience. Living in Taiwan allowed me to spend more time doing what I love: traveling and taking pictures. Taiwan is also the perfect place to explore Asia. That’s why I visited many countries, saving a lot of money.

After Taiwan, I moved to China. It has been a life-changing experience that has allowed me to have unique experiences, such as being an actor in some Chinese blockbusters and seeing wild snow leopards in their habitat in the Tibetan plateau.

One of the reasons why I keep writing on this blog is because I’d like as many people as possible to realize that it’s possible to have a different lifestyle, different from what this society wants us to believe is normal: working 9-5 for all our lives making money to pay stuff we don’t even need.

One of the books that helped me to change my life was the bestseller The 4-Hour Work Week: Escape the 9-5, Live Anywhere and Join the New Rich. It made me realize that we all have the potential and the ability to change if we only stop waiting for the right moment. I am not trying to tell you that you must leave everything behind and move to a different country. All I am saying is that if you are unhappy with your life, it’s time to do something about it. No matter your dream, it is important that you start working towards it at this very moment. Leave your comfort zone, widen out, read more, travel, and explore. Whatever you want to do to change your life, DO IT NOW!
